So, yesterday I heard Mubarak's speech about the riots. Pretty misleading, when all we did was show our feelings at him and want him as well as his government to step down, leading to reforms which would benefit Egypt. He instead reprimanded the demonstrators for causing so much destruction to public property and accused the organisers for trying to create instability and insecurity within this country. From what i see, Mubarak does not want to step down at all. He is instead heaping the blame on his current government, which was set up by none other than himself. Calling the current government to step down is not the solution to the problem. To end this crisis, Mubarak must himself step down and resign. Only then can our reforms take place.
Today, I got the news that Other Internet users are trying their best to help us communicate our requests to the outside world. This is good tidings and I wish to extend my grateful thanks to them. Finally, we have a door to the outside world where people all around the world will know our struggle for a better Egypt.
