30th January 2011 - Hillary Clinton speaks out

Through a contact in nearby Libya, I recently found out that Hillary Clinton had spoken out against Mubarak recently, urging a smooth transition to democracy and to heed the demands of Egyptian citizens. Besides that, she said Mubarak should respect our rights and heed our requests for economic, social and political reform. In no way did she say she supported Mubarak or his past deeds. So this is a big boost for us. We will definitely continue our demonstrations for freedom!
